However, it is unclear whether there were any changes in the placement activities of students from the Physical Therapy Course at Tohoku Bunka Gakuen University. This study investigated the placement activity situation of the students and the number of placements available accepted by the university in 2020 compared to in 2019. A questionnaire survey on placement activity was conducted on 95 fourth-year students from the Physical Therapy Course of the university in 2019-2020. More than 95% of the students gained employment in medical institutions in both 2019 and 2020. In 2020, students gained the most employment one month later than in 2019. Furthermore, the percentage of students who gained employment from their most wanted medical institution was lower in 2020 than in 2019. The number of placements accepted by the university were fewer in 2020 than in 2019.
