[Methods] For this study, 31 young adults walked on Foot-Pressure Sensors at three velocities: low, normal, and high. The foot pressure change during walking was measured at each walking velocity. Then the walking phase was classified based on foot pressure. [Results] The percentages of Mid-Stance and Pre-Swing phases in a walking cycle were significantly lower during high-velocity walking than at other walking velocities. Regarding the percentages of Terminal Stance phase in the walking cycle, that during high-velocity walking was significantly greater than during slow walking.
