The purpose of this study was to present an example of volunteer activities conducted as part of the AdS course \"Basic Practice in Adapted Sports\" and to examine future issues. This course was taken by university students majoring in contemporary sociology and physical therapy. A total of 6 groups (69 students in total) participated in volunteer activities at the \"31st Miyagi and Sendai City Athletic Meet for the Disabled. The students guided athletes with physical disabilities and visual impairments from the muster area to the competition start area. These experiences provided an opportunity to learn specific support methods through direct interaction with people with disabilities, as well as to gain know-how in competition management.
